Our friendly and supportive environment means that many of our 33 staff have a long working record with us many for well over 20 years. They are all qualified to work with dementia clients the staff all attend annual training courses as an ongoing exercise to maintain an excellent level of care and well-being for all who live and work at Gorselands. 
 
 
The staff at Gorselands are cheerful, highly dedicated, and professional offering 24-hour care, call bells are in all rooms with waking care staff at night. Care staff are always available to give assistance if required with all aspects of personal care. 
 
 
Gorselands has a very high client to staff ratio to care for our 30 clients.  
It is usual to have a Manager, Deputy Manager and four to five Care Staff at any one time, in addition we have an Activities Leader as well as our Laundry Team, Cleaning Team and the Maintenance Team. At night we have three to four Waking Night Staff. Two Chefs that create home made dishs and food to order. 
The owners play an active part in the running of Gorselands.
